Feast of Trumpets
Trumpets (or Rosh Ha-sha-nah,) a day of rejoicing marked by the blowing of trumpets. These trumpets were in the Old Testament and known as the rams horn, shofar, and the silver trumpets. (Lev. 23:23-25)
The Feast of Trumpets pictures wars, plagues, and the return of Christ. See the significance of Trumpets in: I Thes. 4:13-18, I Cor. 15:50-52, Mt. 24:29-31 ; Rev. 11:15 and Num. 10:1-10.
